🎨 Art Program

The Horace Mann School art program nurtures the creativity in each student. Our curriculum is based on the Massachusetts Arts Curriculum Frameworks and is aligned with the National Core Arts Standards. In each grade, developmentally appropriate learning experiences challenge students through a variety of hands-on, creative activities in a range of media. Students explore painting, drawing, collage, printmaking, textile arts, puppetry, and a variety of 3D art making in projects that often support learning in core curriculum subjects. Through exploration of various materials, students learn essential art making skills while developing critical and creative thinking skills.
