Student Body Government (SBG) at the middle and high schools is an opportunity to develop collaboration, self-advocacy, and leadership skills. By engaging in student government activities, students can play a role in important issues affecting them, such as school events and funding. While SBG helps students feel more connected to HMS, it also helps them develop a sense of responsibility and ownership of their education.
